
FFE Eco-Series Film “Francesco” IN-PERSON AT TAU CENTER
The film Francesco to be featured January 10 in Kirkwood, MO
The documentary on Pope Francis entitled Francesco, will be January’s free FFE Eco-Series event. A special viewing and discussion of the film will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 6:30 in the evening Central, at Tau Center in Kirkwood, MO.
According to Vimeo, “Francesco is a generous, hopeful, and moving film for and about all of us at a time when we need a bold new vision, and visionary leadership to inspire us to build a better, healthier, and more equitable future — one that can be share widely now and for generations to come.
The film touches on the pandemic, police violence, racism, border walls, migration and refugees, LGBT, women’s empowerment, sexual abuse and much more from today’s headlines. This film takes an honest look at the most pressing challenges at this moment in time and examines how we might take action to transition into a new way of living and thriving in the 21st century. Director Avgeny Afineevsky was given unprecedented access to the Vatican and to Pope Francis himself to make this moving documentary.”

The Tau Center building is directly behind the PNC Bank building along Kirkwood Road, and backs up to South Clay between KinderCare and the American Legion. Turn off Kirkwood Rd between the bank drive-thru and Starbucks (across the street from Mod Pizza). Free parking surrounds Tau Center, and all who are able are invited to enter through the covered entry porch facing the back lot of the PNC Bank building. If you cannot climb stairs, there is handicap parking and a stairless entry door on the southwest side of the building. This door is locked, so please call (314) 965-3700 from the parking lot when you arrive so that someone can let you in.
