Laudato Si’ Week Prayer Service “Hope for the Earth, Hope for Humanity”

Laudato Si’ Week Prayer Service via Zoom

Join us in spirit on the eve of the eighth anniversary of Laudato Si’, the encyclical by Pope Francis on the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor. With hope in our hearts, we will reflect on both our planet and its people during a prayer service entitled, Hope for the Earth, Hope for Humanity. We welcome all to participate via Zoom.

Scroll down to begin the Zoom registration process, after which you will receive an email response that contains a Zoom link. Please save and flag/star this email so you can find that link to log in on the evening of May 23 at 6:15 pm (the service begins at 6:30, but we kindly ask those available to log in at 6:15 in case there are difficulties). We will attempt to email reminders to Zoom registrants one day and one hour before the event that will also contain the link, but they seem to be inconsistent in delivery. When you log into Zoom, you may go into a “waiting room” — your patience is appreciated.

Franciscans For Earth is sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Their free, monthly, Eco-Film & Speaker Series was created to educate, advocate and collaborate on behalf of Our Common Home and all of its inhabitants.
