Celebration of life Sister Xavier Fik, OSF 1918-2020

Sr. Xavier Fik entered eternal life on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 102 years of age. She was the 6th out of ten children and born in Chicago Heights, IL. In her joyful years of service as a Franciscan Sister she ministered as a teacher, principal, organist and seamstress. Sister was known for her zest for life, her Polish heritage, music, and jokes.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 6 from 3:30 – 5 PM followed by Mass of Resurrection in the Lally Room at Cardinal Ritter Senior Services on Watson Road.

Memorial gifts to honor Sister Xavier may be made to the Franciscan Sisters at 335 S. Kirkwood Road, St. Louis, MO 63122.
