Sept 13 FFE Eco-Speakers via Zoom: “A Harvest of Awe & Wonder”
A Harvest of Awe & Wonder, an evening of reflection, collective insight & ritual with Sister Jan Stocking and Diza Velasco
Please join the Franciscan Sisters on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 6:30 in the evening, live at Tau Center in Kirkwood, MO (or via Zoom) for the Franciscans For Earth Eco-Series speaker presentation “A Harvest of Awe & Wonder.” Rockhaven Ecozoic Center co-directors Sister Jan Stocking of the Sisters of Mercy and Diza Velasco will present this evening of reflection, collective insight & ritual. Leaning into the wisdom of the harvest season, let us foster the sense of wonder and awe, respond to the invitation of deep contemplation, and revel in Earth’s sacred delights.
Sister Jan’s experience as an educator and administrator led her to work among circles of women, foster eco-spirituality, and work towards multiculturalism. Jan embodies the Sisters of Mercy of the America’s committed action towards Earth care. Diza Velasco is a spiritual companion committed to bringing about the sacred feminine dimension of the Divine and in expanding one’s spirituality in the context of the Ecozoic Era.

We will attempt to email reminders to Zoom registrants one day and one hour before the event that will also contain the link, but they seem to be inconsistent in delivery.
